The City of Canyon Lake contracts with Hogle-Ireland, Inc. for planning services. Hogle-Ireland has been in business for over 19 years in Southern California, serving both the public and private development community and is currently providing contract planning services to 17 different jurisdictions in Southern California. Hogle-Ireland provides innovative planning and development services to enhance the quality of life, as well as to create enjoyable places. The Hogle-Ireland team at Canyon Lake has over 45 years of combined experience serving in progressively responsible Planning and Community Development functions.

Hogle-Ireland will be overseeing the typical Planning functions of Canyon Lake, which include; reviewing developments and site plans, updating the General Plan to keep current with State Code requirements, updating the Zoning Code as needed, reviewing applications for conditional use permits, signage, business license, and other land uses. Staff is available to meet with the public on Wednesdays by appointment.
