Canyon Lake Library  The city of Canyon Lake contracts with the Riverside County Library System to provide library services. Welcome to the Canyon lake Library! Our library staff is here to help! Whether you are looking for the newest novel, audio books, or children's books or even want to download e-books, come visit the library. Downloadable e-books are available from Overdrive off the www.rivlib.net website. Overdrive is compatible with personal computers and certain mobile/portable devices such as: Apple, Android, Nook, Kobo and Pandigital (unfortunately not Kindles).  We also offer: computers, DVD's, music and CD's to learn languages. The Canyon Lake staff is here to support our young readers by offering toddler, preschool and pajama story times. We also offer family programming, such as craft night and movie night. Throughout the year, we have special events. Additionally, we offer a book club for adults and Anime for Teens. During the summer, we have a Summer Reading Program open to all ages. Our focus is to help support reading readiness by providing quality books, media and great special events. Our Technology Center now offers the public access to 10 personal computers (for one-hour sessions), two 30-minute express computers and a copier. We offer printing from our public computers for a nominal charge. Our computer reservation center allows you to make same day reservations for a public computer. Come visit the redesigned Canyon Lake Library to see how it offers our members more reasons for visiting. Other special features we are supporting are the library Facebook page and a library app for Android devices.  These provide our followers with day-to-day information on our library activities. By following our Facebook page, you also can see what new materials have come into the library - be the first to know! There are many ways you can become involved in our library. Our Canyon Lake Friends of the Library is always looking for volunteers. Please take the time to stop by and visit. The Library itself is also constantly looking for volunteers who want to help make our library a wonderful place to visit. Suggestions are always welcome and we are continuously looking for new ways to help the Canyon Lake Library evolve and offer special programming and activities to all of our members. Therefore, whether you are looking for the latest novel, a graphic novel, accelerated readers, or need internet access the staff at the Canyon lake Library will work with you to assist with your information, your literary, or your entertainment needs. The Kid's Cove:

The Kid's Cove is a wonderful and inviting place designed to stimulate developing minds and young imagination.

The library provides preschool story time (ages 3-5 years) on Fridays @ 11:00 a.m. which introduce young children to the joys of books and storytelling.

Other outstanding programs for families include free educational and entertaining programs, Summer Reading Program and Winter Reading Program.

The Children collection includes board books for babies, pictures books, first readers, magazines, Spanish books, bilingual books, recorded books, music cd’s, reference books to meet the educational needs of school age children.
